Inspiration
We live in an era of "disposable" content, stories that disappear in 24 hours and feeds curated for strangers rather than ourselves. We wanted to build something that prioritized authentic nostalgia over instant validation.
Inspired by the "delayed gratification" of physical film and the raw aesthetic of 2016-era photo sharing, 365 was born to help people capture the "boring" everyday moments that actually become the most precious memories three years down the line.
What it does
It functions as a time capsule app, saving all of the files you upload and creating a date when you can open it up in the future. Users also engage with the app by taking daily photos that can be saved to the time capsule and fulfilling prompts.
How we built it
We built the app design initially on Canva to figure out the UI. We then used Framer to create the website.
