*362 (Do Not Call)

First I believe that every phone line should have caller ID enabled. It should be required to list the name of the caller and the # they are calling from. This should especially be enforced for any non-individual entity; businesses, not-for-profits..... There should not be a way to block this. The phone companies should provide an option (maybe *362) to block any # that calls your line. As soon as you get an unwanted call, hang up and dial *362 and the last # to call you is automatically added to a block list for your line. There would obviously be a need to un-block a number from time to time. Maybe after you press the *(whatever) you get a prompt to block the last number or enter 2 to un-block a number. Then you key in the number to un-block.
