What it does

Our application converts 32-bit IEEE-754 floating-point numbers to their decimal representation and vice-versa based on the user's input into a text field and the conversion direction they select. There is also an easily accessible help screen for users if they want to know more about the functionalities of our application.

How we built it

We coded the entire app using Java and we used JavaFX for the graphic user interface components.

What's next for 32-bit IEEE-754 Converter

In the future, we may wish to optimize the algorithms for more efficiency, incorporate more design patterns as the project gains more functionality/features, and add other conversion functions such as converting 64-bit floating point values.
