Inspiration

We love to build games, its a collective hobby for our team. this hobby brings us the most joy, and we think this is the magnum opus of our hackathoning career.

What it does

This is a game that centers around destruction, with responsive movement mechanics, bright lights, pretty colors, and AAAA animations.

How we built it

This game was built with the Unity Engine in C#. With the help of a collective 2,500mg of caffeine.

Challenges we ran into

Our ideation phase was a bit of a struggle, as we kept coming up with interesting ideas that lacked the ability to be gamified. However, since we found our niche we've been on a roll.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We actually implemented a voice command recognition system, and we have custom breakcore music written specifically for the game.

What we learned

We have all been able to expand our knowledge of the Unity Engine and its packages, discovering functionality we didn't even think was possible.

What's next for 3 Minutes to Rage

We would like to go on to release this as a fully functional game available for download, probably within the same scope though. We just want to put as much polish as we can to perfect our vision for the user experience.
