Inspiration

The inspiration came from the death of my friend's father. The family had money but the father controlled everything, when he died suddenly, no one even knew which banks account he had. They had a hard time tracking down everything the father had.

What it does

Inheritance is a term we all know and one that many of us consider when we want to leave something behind for our loved ones. But inheritance can be complicated because it requires planning and forethought. The 2heavens NFT makes the process easier by allowing you to create an inheritance will that lives on the blockchain so your wishes are carried out after your death.

You can then create inheritance NFTs from within the platform by entering your wishes into a data field. You may include anything from a specific wish, such as who should inherit a particular item or how money is to be distributed. NFTs are unique tokens that can be used for all types of purposes including inheritance. This allows data and wishes to be shared with whoever you want after your death, whether it's a bank or even an online platform login like Facebook.

It’s easy to sign up on the website, no matter where in the world you are located. You simply choose a username and password that you will use to log in.

How we built it

The project was created using Appgyver to develop the app, Bubble.io was used as a database and website. To integrate with the CELO blockchain we use Tatum.io

Challenges we ran into

The big challenge was to develop the business case not only thinking about the current model, but thinking about the future and also about the potential of the CELO blockchain.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our greatest pride is that this idea has been maturing for about 4 years now, analyzing alternatives to the business model and now we were able to implement it quickly, reaching our goals in terms of traceability and security using the blockchain.

What we learned

Although We have read a lot about the concept of blockchain, having taken the blockchain course at the University of Nicosia, nothing like getting your hands on and getting things done. We were able to learn all the concepts in practice.

What's next for 2heavens

There is a lot to be done, including releasing into production and carrying out the entire marketing and growth process.

There are several ideas of features, but the main one is to create a structure so that people can share with the heirs the currency that the person has in their wallet or even leave a mnemonic to be shared. This work will be more complex because we need to work hard on the security issue.
