How our project addresses this challenge ?
Our project is an app called " 2gether " (it refers to the word " together ") which is basically a social communication app designed to address the boredom people feel during quarantine, our app cares about diversity, and therefore contains categories for people from different backgrounds to communicate together and share their beloved moments. so our app can solve this challenge "The Isolation problem "
How We Developed This Project
What inspired our team to choose this problem?
The reason is that loneliness and isolation in the home for long periods of time cause some mental illness and depression, and mental illnesses are more dangerous than physical diseases, they affect everything in the body, such as our thinking, our behaviors, our outlook on life, etc.
What was our approach to developing this project?
Starting with the most important and simplest of the four known solutions, which is the technological solution: We have decided from our point of view to make a social communication application in a different way that has many things, whether to gain friendships from the same hobbies and interests or in terms of entertainment and entertainment and and spending time in something useful.
What tools, coding languages, hardware, and software will we use to develop our project?
As I mentioned earlier, our idea is to apply social media differently, so what we need to implement this idea are the basic things to make any social communication app, such as:
1-Mobile programming language codes such as Java or Flutter 2-APIs
3-Server to store data
What problems and achievements did our team have? Our team was able to find a solution to this challenge differently such as :
1-Solve the problem of isolation and loneliness at home. 2-Solve the problem of the difficulty of reaching people with similar interests and hobbies. 3-Our solution will help in cultural exchange between individuals around the world. 4-Spend time in something useful.
