Inspiration
A recurring issue is that current employees are not adequately prepared for their jobs or they are doing things beyond their job scope due to layoffs or administrative issues. Most of these issues stem from a root cause, which starts at the beginning, which is inadequate onboarding. The most affected being new employees, who have trouble integrating into their roles with current measures such as employee handbooks, on-the-job training and training videos. Hence, it is important to optimise the onboarding process, elevating the overall experience for employees.
What it does
Onboard AI leverage its user's behaviour and customises a learning experience to optimise the integration of employees by using image generating AI and an AI agent.
How we built it
For the AI agent, we used GPT4 custom models which we fed information on sharepoint (as an example) along with custom instructions. For the Image generating AI, we used concepts from stable diffusion.
Challenges we ran into
We lack depth in this field of knowledge so we had to spend a lot of time to figure out how we were going to implement our prototype.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to execute a concrete plan and solution.
What we learned
AI is an increasingly prevalent tool that is becoming an integral part of daily life. This is especially apparent now that we know how to implement the use of AI in day-to-day activities.
What's next for Onboard AI
Right now, Onboard AI mainly focuses on integrating new employees into their workplaces, perhaps it could extend to help other demographics such as childhood learning.
