Inspiration
We are inspired by the lack of old school card games in the web3 space. There was a need for some innovations in this space and we came with with the idea of decentralized Black Jack Game
What it does
It is a Decentralized Multiplayer Black Jack game but on Chains. Here you would be able to play against strangers who have a Metamask wallet, own NFT skins of cards and just win in life.
How we built it
We used Unity for the basic game development, Photon PUN for making it multiplayer and Thirdweb SDK for making it decentralized.
Challenges we ran into
There were a few challenges that we faced, like we were unable to understand how to setup the Photon server or how RPC calls work, but you know what they say, a simple google search solves all the problem
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are pretty proud of how the whole project turned out to be, at the starting we had no idea what it would look like, but we worked through it.
What we learned
We surely did learn how to be patient when things don't work as you wanted them to work. Apart from that we would say Thirdweb SDK is pretty fun and easy to use, it takes away the hassle of manually writing a and deploying every contract. Learned a lot about Thirdweb!!
What's next for 21 Decentralized Multiplayer Card Game
We are planning on introducing a betting system and a ranked mode.
