2040-Wait allows kids to learn and practice mental arithmetic while being an addicting time sink!

2040-Wait is obviously a game. It helps people in life, especially kids, with their basic addition skills.

Inspiration

I was playing 2048 and thought, "what if I could practice math while playing my favorite game?". While you may be thinking how it is quite sad that my favorite game is 2048, I was thinking up this idea. A few hours later, 2040-Wait came into existence.

What it does

2040-Wait is a fun game to practice mental arithmetic while playing the well-known and very addictive 2048!

How I built it

Through the use of the three fundamental languages of web dev (CSS, HTML, JS), I was able to whip up this project!

Challenges I ran into

My main language is Python. Python booleans are uppercase as in "True" or "False". In JS, booleans are either "true" or "false". So when I spaced out and was just typing code, I assigned a boolean in JS to "True", which confused me for a whole hour as I just thought my code was malfunctioning and it wasn't throwing an error. Fun.
