2023 NBA Playoff Offensive Player Breakdown

Inspiration

I enjoy watching statistical analysis breakdowns of NBA players.

What it does

Visualize multiple statistical values recorded by the NBA and display them, usually by player.

How I built it

Using Tableau and dataset from Kaggle.

Challenges Iran into

Filtering into readable and intuitive results. As well as making sure the operations of the data was in order to create the correct calculations.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Learning about Tableau. I have never interacted with Tableau in any capacity.

What I learned

I learned how to use Tableau to create some data insights as well as continuing to troubleshoot and learning new aspects exciting software.

What's next for 2023 NBA Playoff Offensive Player Breakdown

Further tuning of the model and making sure this can be dynamic in its application. I would like to make it adaptable to different years of NBA data to make predictions based on historical data.
