Inspiration:
I love baseball and exploring datasets.
What it does:
The visuals show what months in the MLB season have a high amounts of homeruns.
How I built it:
I used Tableau to create all my data visualizations.
Challenges I ran into:
I was unable to export my Tableau images with the hovering tooltip showing the amount of games played and the number of At-Bat appearances by each MLB team.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of:
Scrapping data using MLB.com and baseball-reference.com
What I learned:
Creating data visualization requires time and dedication.
What's next for 2016 MLB Homeruns:
Comparing players ages and homeruns. Also, comparing the total of homeruns in dome and non-dome stadiums.
