Inspiration
Every day, millions of people take rides, but not everyone feels safe or treated fairly. I noticed that women often hesitate to travel alone, and many drivers struggle with unfair fares. I thought — what if a ride-hailing app could put people first, not just profit? That thought sparked the idea of Yaaro, a platform where safety, fairness, and inclusivity drive every decision.
The Journey So Far
Brainstorming 2 Min Yaaro taught me how deeply technology can impact real lives. I explored AI models for route safety, NLP for filtering reviews, and transparent algorithms for fair fares. I learned that ethical design and data security are as important as code itself.
How I Plan to Build It
The front end will be React, backend Node.js + Express, and database MongoDB. Google Maps API will handle live routes and fare calculations. Future enhancements include AI-driven safety alerts and community feedback moderation using Python and Hugging Face NLP models.
Challenges & Future Goals
Currently, the biggest challenge is turning this vision into a working app with mentorship. My goal is to create a ride-hailing experience where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered.
