2 for 1 Special

I propose the government (either State or Federal) start a service, one where people can apply and work for, hense the 2 for 1 part of my plan, as this will also help with the employment rate.

The service itself will allow for people to buy and pay for a service where calls are routed to a person that monitors the phone line via computer and that person can either connect the call, or block the call. I propose that subscribers to the service can call the service at anytime and add phone numbers to authorized callers, or block numbers of unwanted callers. This service not only blocks calls from unwanted solicitors, but also can block calls from unwanted personnel. (i.e. Ex's, stalkers, ect...)

The funds from the service can go towards the salary required to hire the people to monitor the phone lines.

Any excess funds can go to helping with the national debt (Federal) or to helping pay for a State's educational system (State).

The reason that I propose this company be a government agency is because the personnel that monitor the calls need to be held under the same employment requirements as any other government agencies. (i.e. Background checks, punitive actions, drug free environtment, ect...)

The starting of such an agency will allow people the option to buy the service or to go without. Those that go without can obviously continue to recieve said calls, and those that opt for the service will benefit from the agencies services.
