Inspiration

There are over 2.8 million ENS domains registered, out of which 40k ENS domain holders have set up their web3 sites due to the complexity of the process. Those who have set up their sites often have very basic designs. This trend is also seen in the rest of the web3 domain market.

Creating a decentralized website for a Web3 domain can be a complex process, requiring extensive research and technical understanding of concepts such as IPFS, CID, and Content Hash. This can be especially challenging for non-technical users. To address this challenge, we have developed a product that simplifies the design, build, and publishing process for web3sites on Web3 domains.

What it does

1w3 lets anyone build professional-grade web3sites, seamlessly link them to Web3 domains, and easily upload them to decentralized storage platforms such as IPFS or Arweave, guaranteeing the safety, security, and accessibility of their content from anywhere in the world.

Challenges we ran into

There were challenges in implementing IPFS and IPNS for our team, Thanks to team Spheron who helped us in implementing and integrating IPFS and IPNS.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We launched private beta access to users in Jan 2023, we have more than 400 signedup users trying out the product. 1w3 has been selected as an Ecosystem product by ENS team. Nick founder of ENS termed 1W3 as one of the killer apps being built for ENS.
