Inspiration

The inspiration behind 1MinCheckUp came during the COVID-19 pandemic when access to timely healthcare became a serious challenge, especially in rural and remote areas. Seeing loved ones struggle with chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension without regular checkups motivated us to create a solution that makes healthcare accessible, affordable, and instant.

What We Learned

Through this project, we gained deep insights into PPG-based health diagnostics, the potential of smartphone sensors, and how AI can assist in personalized healthcare. We also learned the importance of data privacy, patient security, and the need for interoperability with global health systems.

How We Built It

We used smartphone cameras with PPG algorithms to detect blood pressure and ECG. Eyeball-based glucose detection was implemented using real-time image analysis. The backend was powered by AI/ML for analysis and Dr. AI assistant. We also integrated blockchain wallets for Bitcoin and crypto payments, and added modules for quantum health prediction and holographic visualization using the camera.

Challenges We Faced

One major challenge was ensuring high accuracy for health readings across various phone models. Balancing advanced features with a user-friendly UI and meeting HIPAA compliance were also tough. Integrating quantum wellness tools and crypto transactions securely posed technical and regulatory challenges—but we overcame them with continuous testing, expert consultations, and strong teamwork.
