Inspiration
A perfect 17-0 season is nearly impossible: win 17 straight and every small weakness compounds. At 90% per game your odds are about 17%; at 80% they drop to about 2%. We wanted a quick way to feel that math instead of just read it.
What it does
17-0 Game is a free browser football challenge. You spin for random NFL teams and eras, draft players into every slot of your roster (QB, skill positions, line, defense), then simulate a full 17-game season to see if you can finish undefeated. Share your roster and record and challenge friends to beat it.
How it works
- Random spins keep every run different, so strategy is about balance, not just stacking stars.
- Each game's win probability depends on roster strength against the opponent.
- The season sim plays out all 17 games and reports your record.
What we learned
Quarterback and pass rush move win probability the most, but a hole at offensive line or secondary quietly costs a couple of percent per game, which is the difference between 17-0 and 14-3.
