Inspiration
I'm taking a class called How To Make (Almost) Anything that will go through many aspects of digital fabrication and embedded systems. For the first assignment we had to design a model for our final project trying out different modeling software. As a beginner, I decided to take the opportunity to learn more about Unity through this hackathon.
What it does
Plays like the 15 tile block puzzle game
How we built it
I used Unity.
Challenges we ran into
Unity is difficult to navigate, there were a lot of hidden settings that made things not show up or scale. Since I'm not familiar with C# or Unity I spent a lot of time learning about different methods and data structures. Referencing of objects across the different scripts and attributes is not obvious and I ran into a lot of those kinds of issues.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
About 60% functional.
What's next for 15tile puzzle game
Making it 100% functional.
