Inspiration

The inspiration for LifeHub came from a common problem in everyday life: personal information is scattered across different apps, notes, calendars, and to-do lists. It can be difficult to keep track of tasks, schedules, habits, and daily thoughts in one place.

I wanted to explore the idea of a simple personal assistant that brings these everyday activities together and makes daily planning easier.

What I Hope to Learn

Through this project, I want to improve my skills in building practical applications with AI-assisted development tools. I also want to learn how to turn a broad idea into a structured product, organize features into manageable components, and create a user-friendly experience.

How I Plan to Build It

LifeHub is planned as a personal life management platform with four core features:

  • Task Management: Create, organize, and track daily tasks.
  • Schedule Management: Keep important events and plans organized.
  • Habit Tracking: Record daily habits and monitor consistency.
  • Daily Notes: Capture personal thoughts, reminders, and reflections.

I plan to use Kiro to help structure the development process, refine requirements, and support implementation. The project will be developed incrementally, starting with the core features before expanding the experience.

Challenges

One of the main challenges is deciding how to bring several different life-management functions together without making the application complicated.

Another challenge is turning the initial concept into clear technical requirements and a manageable development plan. I want to keep the interface simple while ensuring that the different features work together naturally.

This project is an opportunity for me to explore how AI-assisted development can help transform an everyday problem into a useful software product.
