Filing out a 1099 form involves either ordering a paper copy from the IRS & mailing it back in, or paying for third party software to generate an arcane file format the IRS excepts using their FIRE system. This app lets you fill out a form to generate the file. Uses react & no backend server for security. Only issues I ran into was the formatting the file as ASCII formatted files are so finicky when uploading to the IRS. Drew inspiration from other open source generators written in Python & Go.
