Revolutionizing Digital Learning: Frustrated by the prevalent noise and irrelevant content on educational platforms like YouTube, we envisioned 100xDevs @ORION.ai. Our aim is to personalize learning, ensuring every video recommendation is precisely what the learner needs to understand and grow.

What it does

AI-Powered Education: Users express their learning goals and get precisely curated video recommendations. Our AI assistant enhances this by offering real-time interactions—answering queries, summarizing content, and diving deep into specific topics to foster a comprehensive understanding.

How we built it

Tech Stack: We combined TensorFlow and PyTorch for model training, Node.js and TypeScript for backend operations, and React with TailwindCSS for the frontend. Our system integrates YouTube API for content access and TesseractOCR for text extraction from videos. Natural language processing capabilities, ensure sophisticated understanding and interaction.

Challenges we ran into

Overcoming Technical Hurdles: Developing an AI that accurately interprets educational needs, managing vast data flows without sacrificing response time, and ensuring content relevancy were our major challenges. Balancing complexity with user-friendly design also tested our skills.
