Inspiration
The Kaizen Technique- by Japanese to re-build their entire nation through small improvements day-by-day. There is also a Great use-case explaining the power of 1% rule in realtime for Sports to achieve greater goals in modest time- Story of The Britain Cyclists winning Olympics Gold, and many more for 3 years by following 1% improvements in their techniques and team lifestyle.
What it does
makes you a better person than you were yesterday. here you will be your comparing criteria and you'll make a small change in your system to cater the bigger purpose.
How we built it
We analyzed different techniques followed by athletes to become best. and this is the most efficient and un-problematic way to achieve their goal of becoming what ever they planned to be. we designed the prototype as a mobile application. we can build it with 6-8 develpoers in the span of less than 6-months with funding about 30k. does this much really help the players? well for a player to receive the training undergone by a pro athlete it will cost bigger bucks, with this one time development/investment any player or just a student who aims to be better in their field, can get a chance to be able to undergo the training with small improvements founded and widespread by specialists(coaches, scientists and pro-sportsmen). with which you can become your goal in finite time.
Challenges we ran into
while brainstorming, our creative ability has taken 3 topics into consideration after through research we came to understand this problem has bigger scope than we had imagined. soon we were immersed with representing our idea in a way that we, the Athletics department, The CMU, mainly the players/students can become whoever they wanted to become. we first started with creating a mobile application using React, Node.js, MangoDB and Kotlin in Android Studio but we ran into a problem with internet with which we lost our progress after we completed our home. so because of the time- constraint we opted for showing an interactive prototype instead.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
1) we are able to dig down the ideas that helped countries build themselves, so why not ourselves too. 2)relating the idea to given problem statement. 3)Building a model, by Creating an Interactive fully-functioning prototype
What we learned
How to go on even if you feel like you're lost in the process, there were times that we wanted to just giveup, cause we can't even select the project. how in the heaven's we will make a working solution considering all possibilities.
