Inspiration
Alex and Oleg have both found 1:1 meetings to be incredibly difficult. We often don't know what to talk about, waste time collect status report info, and don't track any commitments or goals across meetings.
What it does
This tool collects information in advance of a 1:1 and uses Open AI APIs to suggest topics, help craft feedback, and provide high-level summaries.
How we built it
We built this as a web app using ruby and leveraged open AI apis. All of our monitoring and alerting is powered by New Relic.
Challenges we ran into
- Trouble settling on optimal UX
- Deciding where to infuse the Open AI API
- Scoping the project so that it can be implemented within the bounds of the hackathon
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Talked to users to align on UX
- Feel that we leveraged the Open AI APIs at appropriate moments in the user journey
- Scoped the project appropriately so that we finished our work ahead of the deadline
- Leveraged New Relic to set up a comprehensive dashboard and alerting

- How to prompt the gpt-4 api to accomplish our desired outcomes consistently

- Add some other features: OKR progress tracking, automated action items and alerting
