In today's technology landscape, collaboration on open source software has reached new heights. Open source software has become the backbone of web servers, front-end frameworks, and a wide range of applications, including the transformative realms of blockchains and decentralized applications. However, a critical challenge persists: the lack of sustainable funding often threatens the longevity of promising open source projects.

While donation platforms have emerged to support these projects, their setup and maintenance can be burdensome and time-consuming. At 0xThirdspace, we recognized this challenge and set out to revolutionize open source sustainability. Our innovative solution combines smart-contract powered automated donation distribution with comprehensive commit evaluation, creating a streamlined and efficient support system for open source projects.

The long term vision is to position Thirdspace as an all-one Web3 and AI powered workspace that enables innovators to manage projects from ideation to finished & manage open source contributions.

problems we are addressing Managing projects and coordinating a completely remote team in the web3 space is really hard. Existing web2 solutions makes it too complicated and doesn't solve unique needs of Web3 teams.

Inefficient Team Collaboration: Collaboration and coordination among remote teams working in the Web3 space is cumbersome. Progress is consistently slowed down.

Limited Accountability and Transparency: It is challenging to hold Web3 team members accountable for their tasks. Public token holders need transparency on the teams they have invested in.

Complex Payroll Payments: The decentralized nature of Web3 and the use of cryptocurrencies make traditional payroll systems ill-suited

*Inefficient Governance *; Governance is a critical aspect for Web3 projects. Finding effective on-chain voting and proposals solutions is challenging.

We are a team of 5 with over 3 decades of combined experience building products and we are looking forward to the fantom community for support to build this game-changing product.

Again, Thirdspace currently enables devs to get paid for their git contributions and we set to position ourselves as an all in one workspace for Web3 companies (notion for Web3)

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are most proud of the fact that even when the product seem pretty huge, we still managed to finish up the MVP to submit to the hackathon.

What we learned: We had a lot of invaluable experience working with and deploying on the fantom blockchain, it was exciting to learn how things work on the fantom network.
