Schedule builder meets forum with AI!

What it does

Plan all and discuss your UMass events using an online calendar and individualized forum. Get an AI weekly summary to see what's new in your weekly courses!

How we built it

Using HTML and CSS for frontend and Flask for backend, we set up a website that connects a calendar to a forum summarized by Gen-AI.

Challenges we ran into

We tried using React.js but it had a steep learning curve and ran into compatibility issues with Flask. We decided to use simpler tools, giving us the additional functionality of integrating Gemini.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to stay awake for so long! This hackathon we struggled a lot with the complexities of web development, but learned about how modern web pages work.
