Inspiration

Starting with covid-19 pandemic, a lot of questions and ideas began to appear and take part of our time. This competitions encouraged us to make the idea a true application. Especially in the part of infection. We knew how dangerous it could be in these rates increasing. Starting with inspiring researches and articles, we tried to exploit technology in this solution. We faced challenges in understanding some new inventions and the way they work however we got through this. The most challenging thing was finding a new way for remote scanning. We aim that our searches on this ends soon and achieved the aimed goal.

What it does

As we must be away from each other at the most possible distance to prevent the transfer of the virus. So, We will make a device will be worn by an un infected person and if he became near to any one more than 1.5 meters , the device will give an alert to warn him to be away and the alert will stop if he was away for 1.5 meter. This device will contain a type of sensors called (PIR motion sensor). Which looks like the turtle and depends on the infrared rays which is the temperature that is emitted by the human body. It works at range from 25 cm: 20 meter and we will make it work at 1.5 meters. Our device will be a circle around the human body and will keep people away for are about 7.065 𝑚2 which will keep him safe from all directions and prevent the transfer of the virus by coughing as he will be at a distance prevent that. .

How I built it

Building such a device like that needs with no doubt the help of technology. So this device depends mainly on electronics .we had used Technology of PIR sensor and arduino .Also to build the application that notify the user about the corona cases around him,we used MIT App Inventor powered by Google company.

Challenges I ran into

We have been through lots of challenges and faced more obstacles. Starting with difficulties in the search process. Moreover, for us being away from each other made some troubles however we could get through this and adapted with the online work environment. We faced limitations in experiments. We have some pending ideas until we have the chance to do experiments. .

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are proud of our achievements in this project. We are more proud of what we have learned and great articles we have read. Also, we are proud of attempting to share by our knowledge and ideas in the fight against this virus.

What I learned

We learned to use MIT and work in team work and share ideas with my teammates and making a deep search .we also learned to look for the problem from the eyes of people .

What's next for 0%

-Achieving our aim for new kind of remote scanning. -minimizing materials and therefore, costs. -Funding the project and its experiments.
