Biodegradable Buys

Inspiration

My inspiration came from my passion for finding new ways to reach a wide audience to help support sustainability of natural resources.

What it does

Biodegradable Buy is a retail website where you can find compostable household items like cosmetics, containers, and cutlery that are usually sold with chemicals and materials that are detrimental to our ecosystems.

How we built it

I build Biodegradable Buys using EditorX which is a tool created by Wix to make different kinds of websites; in my case a retail website.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge I ran into was thinking of new innovative products that would catch the eyes consumers.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One thing I am proud of is overcoming the challenge that I listed above. After thinking hard about what my intended audience would like to see everything else started to fall into place.

What we learned

Something to take away from this experience is the way websites are built. When we go on websites we don't think about how every little thing we see on the screen was created by someone. So it was an interesting experience to be the person behind the scenes designing those little things.

What's next for Biodegradable Buys

My hope for the future of Biodegradable Buys is to be able to expand by reaching a wider audience and add more products overtime.
