Inspiration

I have always been mesmerized by our universe. It's sheer largeness and its old age makes me appreciate my life.

What it does

This app allows you to do the following 3 things:

1. browse through all the pictures featured in NASA's Picture of the day website
2. Look up All the pictures taken by NASA's Mars Rovers, Spirit, Opportunity, and Curiosity.
3. Track the live location of the International Space Station.

How we built it

We built this application using Android Studio.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we faced was trying to make the application run across different versions of Android OS without crashing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of learning to read the API, and parsing JSON into an android application, and learning new design elements.

What we learned

We learned different features of android development like designing, memory management, Custom List View designing, and debugging.
