In 2020 I lost my stepson to knife crime. The impact it has on families is profound.

My short film depicts an anime style visual of a brother that has lost his older brother to knife crime and a glimpse into the aftermath switching through to memories as the trauma remains.

As difficult as it was to make this project I thoroughly enjoyed pushing the limits with AI. I made this AI Short Film starting from 2 images of 2 brothers created in Dreamina in an anime style. I then used Capcuts Seedream and Seedream 4.0 multi AI image effects to merge and create new characters into each new scene, then applying Capcuts Video 3.0 Model to those images to create animated scenes.

The next steps for this project is to turn it into a mini series with narration. I am enjoying the evolution of AI so much and I truly look forward to the future with AI technology and what it brings to the table.
