Inspiration

"Those Who See" is an AI sci-fi short film series exploring the boundaries between humanity and artificial intelligence. In Part 4, Vera faces both the AI that once used her and the humans who betrayed her.

The project was inspired by questions about control, consciousness, and how far we’ll let technology shape our world. It was built mostly with AI tools for visuals, voices, and motion, blending them into a cinematic narrative.

Challenges

The biggest technical hurdle in creating a lineal narrative for "Those Who See Part 4" was preventing character and environment drift. AI video generation struggles with maintaining visual consistency when the story doesn't jump in time. My workaround required to use Photoshop to pre-edit the very first image of every sequence, setting the precise character look and environmental details before feeding it to the video generator to lock in the necessary baseline consistency for the subsequent frames.

A parallel challenge was achieving authentic voice acting and emotional depth to match the gravity of the story. It is difficult to get AI dialogue that conveys genuine feelings. I relied on ElevenLabs to generate the necessary lines, carefully prompting the audio to capture the required emotions. I then manually edited and aligned this expressive dialogue with the characters' subtle, AI-generated facial acting to ensure the performance felt cohesive and believable in every scene.
