Inspired by daily commuters between Hong Kong and Shenzhen — their routines, resilience, and shared dreams across the border.

What it does

A bilingual (Mandarin-English) idol pop music video celebrating the Greater Bay Area — from HK stone streets to SZ coastlines, one glass of iced lemon tea, shared.

How we built it

• Additional AI tools and modules were used during experimentation, but Flova.ai served as the primary generation platform.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing creative intent with AI’s emergent outputs. AI is still in development, and precise control remains difficult.

I completed something I never thought I could.

What we learned

AI is a tool — not a replacement — for human intent. Its limits teach us to be clearer in what we want to say.

What's next for Tale of Two Cities

Submitted to Chroma Awards. Long-term, I aim to help develop AIGC in Hong Kong — gaining experience and building a professional profile to contribute meaningfully.
