Support Line — Creator’s Statement Inspiration
Support Line was inspired by a simple question: What if the person you desperately hope to hear… is actually yourself?
I wanted to explore the quiet tension between loneliness and self-connection, and the moment when an inner voice finally becomes audible. The story grew from this idea of meeting yourself in the silence.
What I Learned
This project taught me how powerful minimalistic storytelling can be. Even within three minutes, it’s possible to create atmosphere, vulnerability, and a sense of eerie introspection.
I also learned how to combine multiple AI tools into one cohesive narrative. Visual consistency turned out to be almost mathematical:
Emotion
Lighting + Pacing + Silence Emotion=Lighting+Pacing+Silence How I Built the Project
I wrote the script as a psychological dialogue between a woman and her own inner voice.
I developed the visual style in Midjourney, using --cref to keep Kate’s face consistent.
I created a shot-by-shot plan, carefully tracking continuity (phone hand, window placement, lighting direction).
I generated motion clips with Kling while maintaining a stable color palette and mood.
I edited everything into a short, immersive, and emotionally focused film.
Challenges
Achieving visual continuity across different AI tools was the biggest challenge.
Maintaining the same character appearance required extensive testing and refinements.
Balancing realism with a subtle mystical tone was delicate—too realistic and the mystery disappears; too mystical and the psychological depth is lost.
Working within a ~3-minute runtime forced me to make every frame meaningful.## Inspiration
