Inspiration

• We wanted to create a quick, easy way for shelters to keep a record of the people who visit them, as well as how much they take
• We also wanted to make sure that it worked if people didn't have a cellphone

What it does

• Keeps track of people and the transactions they make in a blockchain, which each participating shelter can grow by running a computer as a node
• People can download an app on their phones to see their account details, their "Sigma Coin" balance, and more, but all of the same functionality is guaranteed with a printed QR code

• How to create a blockchain that serves multiple purposes, including storing some user data, transactions, and more
