Our Mission

Greetings! Our names are Ben and Levi and we're both Computer Science majors at UNC. For as long as we can remember, we have been infatuated with the concept of financial independence. As growing young adults, we share a responsibility to know how to spend and manage our money. Unfortunately, most Americans pass through their primary and upper education without ever developing the skills they need in personal finance. We hope to change that.

About the App

For this year's HackNC, we have put together a simple, intuitive python based web app. Our site prompts the user with a series of questions related to financial literacy. Then upon completion, the user is given individualized, actionable feedback. The web development portion of our app is done using the Flask framework. Flask provided us with the HTML and CSS templates we needed to build a beautiful, simple user experience in a 24 hour period. The backend of our site: quizzes and user-unique feedback, is built entirely from new, custom python code.
