Inspiration
This project was inspired by drone footage captured by a photographer showing polar bears on a remote Arctic island, inhabiting an abandoned research station. I wanted to imagine the interior of the building and show the polar bears inside, something not possible to easily achieve.
What it does
It provides an intimate glimpse into the life of polar bears.
How we built it
A mixture of tools were used including: Midjourney, Nano Banana, Veo, as well as editing in Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Challenges we ran into
As the original footage is copyright protected, I had to create a fictional interior with the right atmosphere and mood, and then composite the polar bear images onto this.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a cinematic style for this piece.
What we learned
How AI can be used to expand on stories that otherwise would not be possible.
