Personal Education Assistant (PEA)

Inspiration

As your typical high school or college student, staying organized is of the utmost importance. So we present the Personal Education Assistant or the PEA which not only helps students stay organized, but also help them efficiently and effectively study.

What it does

Using voice recognition, the PEA performs a variety of commands without the use of a keyboard. The PEA currently allows users to make phone calls through the web app, calculate equations, look up related textbook materials, and find supplies on Target.

How I built it

The app is built on the Flask platform with voice recognition from Bluemix and the use of Twilio, Wolfram Alpha, Chegg, and Target APIs.
