Premise

In 2050s Roshniabad, coder Sh3rez4de settles in for her meditation ritual. The soothing voice of her personal AI becomes a portal to memories from the past and visions for the future. Art, language and technology weave together to ask: How will you show up as the most creative expression of Your Self?

Inspiration

Sacred geometry From lotus blossoms to the dance of planets, sacred geometry illuminates the cosmic harmony of our collective existence. These ancient symbols serve as keys to expanded consciousness, deepening our connection to the divine.

Ancient spirituality Centuries of spiritual innovation – from the transcendent spin of Sufi dervishes, the mysticism of Persian poetry, the meditative practice of calligraphy, to the soul-stirring vibrations of Qawwali – are reimagined to create new forms of collective awakening.

Islamic architecture Just as Islamic architecture guides worshippers from the physical world to the spiritual, MUSTQBL uses these ancient designs to help users transcend into alternate states.

What it does

MUSTQBL reimagines the eternal search for meaning into a mind-bending science fiction odyssey.

How we built it

AI is the concept and medium for the story, so I used it for the entire workflow - from research to brainstorming visual concepts to worldbuilding and sound design.

MUSTQBL's story continues to evolve through community co-creation, where audiences help shape its evolution—from user-generated platforms to AI agents to immersive experiences.
