Inspiration The inspiration for our app was that we wanted to create something simple, yet very convenient to consumers who would want to seek a way to quickly and efficiently create Morse code to send.

How we built it Our app was built primarily utilizing android studio with Java coding, XML, and the text recognition API from Google's Machine Learning Kit.

Challenges we ran into One of our biggest difficulties that we faced was simply our inexperience working together on a single project, with 3 of the 4 of us working with android studio for the first time. In addition, we also had to work with the text recognition API for the first time, and thus figure out the different ways to utilize it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of Definitely the largest accomplishment for us would be just seeing that we have a working product that is able to successfully do what we had planned for it to do. With our little experience, this rather simple task was an enormous mountain for us to climb.

What we learned As a group, we were able to learn more about the development workflow using GitHub as well as getting more familiarized with how android programming works as a whole.

What's next for Morse Light In terms for what's next, we strive to further improve the UI of the app as well as potentially include new features to further enhance the Morse code capabilities for users.
