Montreal Hockey Shoots Into Crime

We were interested in finding the connection between sports and crime. We learned that crime rates in Montreal increase whenever a win occurs with the Montreal Canadien Hockey Team. We build our project using Python and R, where we utilized many libraries to preproccess and analyze both datasets. A challenge we faced was merging the two datasets together to find the correlatinos between win/loss and crime.
