A construction voice assistant that leverages Google Assistant to answer project schedule questions in real time on mobile devices during team meetings and on the move.

By querying activity, date, duration and location information from an XML export of a project schedule, our solution can be used for quick reference to help keep meetings on track and projects on schedule.

Our team developed this solution entirely during the 2 weeks of the hackathon event. We had never met or worked together before the event. Our team combines years of experience in scheduling, construction project management, technology and programming. After daily meetings and brainstorming sessions, we learned to work together with new unfamiliar faces, and respect eachothers' relative levels of expertise while pushing ourselves to learn a new set of technical and presentation skills.

Our MVP solution leverages a real-life construction schedule exported from Primavera P6 to XML, hosted on Google Sheets, using the Sheetdb.io API, Google Dialogflow as the natural language programming engine, and the Google Assistant mobile app as the user interface.
