Inspiration

Our inspiration comes from a fusion of Eastern Zen philosophy and Cyber-Awakening, viewing the Heart Sutra as the ultimate answer to the illusions of the digital age.

Thematic Inspiration: The concept of "Sunyata" (emptiness) from the Buddhist classic, the Heart Sutra.

Musical Inspiration: Combining the repetitive beats of Minimal Techno with the ethereal atmosphere of New Age Ambient to create a Meditative-Driven auditory experience.

Visual Inspiration: Derived from the aesthetics of Cyber-Buddha: a digitally gridded body adorned with ancient gold jewelry and inscribed with luminous scriptures, suggesting the digitization and eternity of wisdom. The background blends digital crystals and organic flowers, embodying the dialectic of "form and emptiness."

What it Does (Project Function/Objective)

This project is a music video (MV) designed to demonstrate how AI technology, as a medium for spiritual art, can translate ancient wisdom into a futuristic meditative experience.

Audio Objective: Create a "Digital Zen Techno" style, using an ethereal female vocal and Eastern sampling to guide listeners into a hypnotic state.

Visual Objective: Create a "Flowing Digital Mandala". The core of the visual is a cybernetic Buddha statue in a prayer posture, with scriptures on its body and crystals/light in the background pulsating and flowing in rhythm with the music.

Artistic Objective: Through the dynamic capabilities of VEO 3.1, demonstrate "Form is emptiness, emptiness is form": concrete elements like gold and crystals (form) are dynamically blurred and decomposed, reducing them to data streams and light (emptiness).

How We Built It

Our project fully leveraged the advantages of various AI tools for cross-platform material generation and high-precision video compositing:

Music: Tools: SUNO (for main music and vocal generation).

Process: Using Minimal Techno/New Age Ambient style instructions, combined with the original text of the Heart Sutra, ethereal, repetitive, and driving music was generated.

Imagery: Tools: Midjourney, Banana, Dreammia (for still image generation).

Process: These tools were used to generate high-precision "cyber Buddha" images. Prompt emphasized "Digital Wireframe Skin," "Glowing Sutra Calligraphy on Skin," "Ancient Gold Jewelry," and "Bokeh Crystal/Floral Background" to capture the visual impact of the still images.

Video & FX: Tools: VEO 3.1 (for core video generation and motion control). Process: Use static images generated by tools like Midjourney as image prompts in VEO.

Use VEO's "Slow Zoom Out" or "Flowing/Melting" dynamic commands to create slow, smooth flow and deformation between the static cybernetic Buddha image and the crystal/flowers in the background.

Final Compositing: In Capcut, edit the dynamic clips output by VEO.

Challenges we ran into

Maintaining Stylistic Consistency: The biggest challenge was maintaining the detail and accuracy of the cybernetic Buddha image across three different drawing styles: Midjourney, Banana, and Dreammia.

VEO's Precise Motion Control: In VEO 3.1, the scriptures and crystals are moved in a slow, ritualistic flow and pulsation.

The Ethereal Music: In Suno, generating music that has electronic beats without being overly "pop" and maintains a Zen-like ethereal atmosphere requires constantly iterating the weights of New Age and Minimal.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creation of Cyber-Spiritual Style: Successfully created the visual language of "Cyber ​​Buddha Images," showcasing ancient wisdom in the most futuristic and magnificent way.

Synchronization of Image and Scripture: Through the precise control of VEO 3.1, perfect synchronization was achieved between the radiance of the scriptures and the shimmering of the crystals in the visuals and the beat and chanting of the music.

Balance of Depth and Aesthetics: Successfully balanced the philosophical depth of the Heart Sutra with the sophisticated visual aesthetics of the music video, proving that AI can be a powerful medium for spiritual exploration.

What we learned

We learned that in the field of AI art, "stylistic consistency" is more important than "the quantity of materials." When integrating across platforms, it's necessary to use the static, high-precision output of one tool (such as Midjourney) as the core image prompt to guide the dynamic output of another tool (such as VEO) to ensure the quality and stylistic integrity of the final work.

What's next for Untitled

Untitled's next step is to continue expanding the "Eastern Electronic Spirituality" series and experiment with using AI to generate 3D point clouds or volumetric pixels to represent the digital decomposition process of "form is not different from emptiness".
