How it works

To make positive changes in our lives, we have to begin from within. Affirmations are a great way to do this. Everything starts with thought. By repeating a thought and feeling, it is "installed" into your mind and body. Eventually your natural state becomes more positive and present. ​​ Mindful Moon iPhone App uses the technology that so often distracts us (our mobile phones), to be used as a tool to act as a friendly ‘tap on the shoulder’ to bring us back into the moment and train our minds of habit into being more positive and present.​

Challenges I ran into

  • Reminders should work on-line and off-line
  • iOS is limiting a number of reminders allowed for one app
  • Background notifications could be un-reliable

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The app had 4.5 stars rating in app store.
