Inspiration
Two main factors:
Make one quick trip through the store and check off in order the items needed to be purchased. No running back and forth or getting confused looking for items.
Reduce food waste by getting recommendations on recipes based on items purchased closest to expiration.
What it does
Tracks a user's habits (granted that they take the same path through a store), and begins to arrange the items in the order that the user would come across in order.
Challenges I ran into
Properly sorting the items, and gathering expiration dates relative to purchase.
What's next for Groceries
More accurate habit tracking, coupons, deals, better recipe recommendations.
