Inspiration

The technology behind the inception of cryptocurrency giants like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

What it does

Provides a blockchain implemented e-commerce platform for the multiple retailers in Gotham and its residents.

How we built it

We made use of Python 3 and Visual Studio Code along with certain RSA encryption libraries.

Challenges we ran into

We had to generalize the addition of generated blocks in the blockchain. Time constraints which led us to remove some interesting features.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made a working blockchain from scratch within 4 hours, and it only needs a bit of polishing before we can deploy it online for the masses to benefit from.

What we learned

Teamwork makes the dream work, and "Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'm possible".

What's next for Gotham Blockchain

We might incorporate mining functionality for users to benefit from. The addition of distributed ledger systems in the form of multiple distributed blockchains. Automation of the system.
