Inspiration

In today’s busy world everyone has work. People are always short of time. This is meant to give them the peace they need to work efficiently.

What it does

It plays focus boosting music while you work, and records the amount of time you spend working so you can keep track of time. As soon as you stop working, it calculates how much you should rest according to how much you have worked.

How we built it

We used web development to make it a responsive and user friendly website.

Challenges we ran into

The timer functionality, and the audio file posed some issues, but non lasted for very long.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to make a fully functional website which also looks beautiful and is responsive within a 24 hour deadline. It took us about 7.5 hours but it was totally worth it. We also realized that we could use this in our lives as well.

What we learned

We learned about the impact of focus boosting music and rest is on the body while researching for our project. We also learned how we can make a much better website by not adding too much stuff and keeping it simple.

What's next for Focus Booster

Adding an add blocker to it, and extending it's functionality.
