Inspiration

The lockdown has affected our convenience in stepping out and choosing the necessities personally. There are doubts that arise on whether the goods purchased online are of the best quality as everyone wishes it to be. Another side of the community that has been suffering are the farmers, who are facing difficulties in finding customers for their crops. Hence we came up with this idea that extends support to both the sides.

What it does

It is an e-commerce marketplace for buying farming goods and resources. It also gives farmers the exposure they need in order to thrive well in markets and keep up with other sellers in the same business.

How we built it

We wrote the codes that fused HTML, Python, JavaScript, CSS and Flask.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We believe this project will give farmers the breakthrough they need in order for their business to flourish, at the same time nourish a society that promotes healthy eating habits.

What's next for FarmEasy

We plan on adding many more features like:

Make the UI better in order to enhance the user experience.
Add a database that stores the data of the users and the records of previous purchases/sales.
Make an Android version of the application.
