Inspiration

I was inspired by the feeling of being lost and scared, and how the mind can confuse reality. I wanted to show a man who thinks the world is ending, but the real fight is inside him. This emotion became the heart of the film.

What it does

The film follows Elias, an older man who believes the city is falling apart. He tries to escape, leaving messages behind. In the end, we learn he is in a hospital, not in danger. His fear slowly turns into understanding and peace.

How we built it

We used a simple process:

Master shots for each scene to set the look.

Close-ups and angles made from those master shots to keep things consistent.

A short monologue to guide the emotions.

Put everything together to show his journey.

Challenges we ran into

The character changed sometimes, so we had to fix him.

Lighting was different between scenes.

Making all locations feel connected took time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We kept Elias consistent through many shots.

We told a full, emotional story with simple tools.

We created clear feelings: fear → confusion → peace.

What we learned

We learned that planning is important for AI films. We also learned that emotion and story matter more than anything else.

What's next for Evacuation

We want to improve the sound, polish the pacing, and maybe expand the story. We also want to keep learning and create more emotional AI films.
