## Echoes of the Carnival – The Dance Continues
About the project This film continues the world I created in the original Echoes of the Carnival. I returned to the same abandoned fairground to explore how beauty, identity, and fashion can feel alive even in a space where color has faded. The atmosphere draws inspiration from nomadic, gypsy-like aesthetics — expressive, free, textured, and emotionally rich.
The project is a visual study of versatility inside a monochrome world. Instead of relying on color or narrative, the film focuses on presence, movement, styling, and the quiet rhythm of people passing through spaces that feel both forgotten and intimate.
What I learned Revisiting the same universe taught me how much nuance can shift when approaching a world from a new emotional angle. I learned to communicate through gesture, rhythm, framing, and silence. The absence of color pushed me to find expression in contrast, texture, and light.
How I built the project The film was created entirely with AI tools. I shaped the carnival environment, refined the nomadic-inspired styling, and built the atmosphere layer by layer. The soft accordion pulse acts as the emotional thread connecting this film to the first one.
Challenges I faced Working in black and white required precise control over contrast and composition. The challenge was to maintain continuity with the first film while allowing this chapter to evolve—drawing on wandering, folkloric influences without losing the coherence of the world.Inspiration
