What we learned

We’ve learnt a lot of new things as this was a first hackathon for most of us. It has been an exciting journey where we learned to work together and collaborate with each other despite lots of challenges. Problem solving, networking, time management and learning technical skills from each other made this hackathon a lot more fun

In the future, offline applications can be enhanced with web socket-based routing and networking features, enabling seamless communication between users and the application even without an internet connection. For instance, a UPI Lite app can utilize web sockets for real-time bidirectional data exchange, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Additionally, implementing an offline mode allows the app to continue functioning without internet access, enabling users to view transaction history and access stored data. To comply with government regulations, integrating radio features like FM radio may require licensing and can serve as a backup communication channel during emergencies.

Innovations in mobile phones may include satellite communication capabilities, extending coverage beyond traditional networks. By establishing connections with satellites, users can make calls and access data in remote areas where terrestrial coverage is limited. This becomes especially valuable for emergency services and disaster management during situations when terrestrial networks are disrupted.
