We have all experienced the inconvenient hassle and wait time experienced when looking for specialists nearby or trying to book appointments with specialists. This website has been inspired by these issues we have experienced to solve these problems.

What it does

Our website connects specialists to the patients/users of the website, who fill out a questionnaire detailing the specific specialist they are looking for.

How we built it

we build the backend part on html and the front end part in CSS. We used git hub to keep the track of the project. We did some research and collected some data sheet that to be used in the project. We used Google OAuth for the google sign in option.

Challenges we ran into

Css part was quite tricky. As beginners we faced problems while coding such as connecting the Google Sign in with Google OAuth. Building a complete project in just two days as a beginner is really difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are able to submit the demo before time, we had a lot to do but some how we managed to make it in time. We successfully able to coordinate between all the teammates despite of the timeline gap.

What we learned

Web technology stack and using github. Other than that we learned how to use Google Api and Google OAuth. The best thing we learned is the importance of teamwork. We are four people from different parts of the world on different times, but we were still able to coordinate and plan the project.

What's next for DocDial

Continue gathering data from specialists who are subscribing to our website, and focusing on gaining more users so that we can partner with pharmaceutical companies to share user information for medical research and advertising purposes.
