Inspiration

I really wanted to create a project that touched up upon all the different aspects of students who are struggling right now due to COVID-19. When I googled anything like "homework help" there were no actual results that were actually everything combine. A lot of the websites were even just companies trying to advertise to you. This lead me to want to create a website that basically had everything in one place.

What Clarity does

Clarity has all the different aspects (mental health, and physical health), and tries to touch upon all of it. There is math, science and AP help pages. There are useful videos like relaxing sounds and music for studying/relaxing and there are workout videos.

How I built it

I used repl.it and HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript to put together Clarity. I also hand drew all of the images in my project.

Challenges I ran into

I'm not super familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or repl.it, and I had a tough time getting started.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm super proud Clarity is up and running without any bugs because it was difficult for me. Because HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were languages I am more rusty in, I was glad to come up with a project. I also think that Clarity itself is a pretty functional website, so it pleases me by just existing. Also, I feel that the images (all of them) were really good because I'm proud that I drew them.

What I learned

Clarity really go me closer to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It has taught me a lot about positioning, margins, paddings, etc. I am now much more familiar with the syntax of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

What's next for Clarity

I really hope to continue to update and expand Clarity. I know there is always room for improvement, and I can't wait to continue to give Clarity more information and functions!
